Toledo Meeting

On the weekend of June 3rd the National Convention Planning Committee met in Toledo, Ohio to work on the National Convention. We were lucky enough to have National President Fred Heismeyer and National Vice-President Maggie Katz join us for our meeting, and lead several team building sessions. Things are shaping up very fast for the National Convention and much more information will be released in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back often to the National Convention website, and blogs. One of the things discussed at the planning meeting was the publicity video that will be released highlighting all the great things there are to do in Louisville, be sure to look for that in the next few months. As with the Indianapolis planning meeting, many photos were taken. Here is just a few.

This is a photo of the University of Toledo campus. On one of their lawns they have wire horses that fit in well with the Convention theme of, 'Unbridled Service'

In this photo several National Convention Planning Committee members are having a discussion during one of the office hours sessions during the meeting.

Finally, as a thank you for attending the June National Convention Planning Committee meeting Fred and Maggie were presented with gifts of appreciation for being guests at our June meeting by the Convention Chair, Brittany Recktenwald, and Convention Coordinator, David Keely.

As always thank you all for your continued interest in the 2006 Alpha Phi Omega National Convention.
